There was a program on the BBC tonight about The Goodies. None of my housemates had ever heard of them or seen them before. They vaguely recognised Bill Odie from the wildlife show he now hosts.

With the amount of crap on British TV nowadays, I reckon its fucking outrageous that the Goodies are so relatively unknown.

Two of my roommates moved out today to go travelling around New Zealand. Pretty much everything in the house was theirs, so when I went downstairs tonight to make dinner, I was completely stuffed - no cutlery, no pots, no oven trays, no pans, no plates, no glasses.

I took comfort from the fact that at the very least, I could have a beer dinner. Then I realised that I no longer had a bottle opener.

Hate this fuckin house.

What is it about people that makes them feel as though they have to blurt out their problems/issues to people they dont know and who dont care. I bought a pizza tonight at work and had to wait 5 minutes for it to cook. In that time, the girl behind the counter talked at me CONSTANTLY without me saying a single word. Even when she gave me my pizza, she kept going on and on about some horse and continued to talk even as i was walking away from her.

To make things worse, the "Hawaiian" pizza had only 4 pieces of pineapple.........not on one slice, but on the entire pizza.

I hate people.

Im frequently amazed at how long Kevin Sheedy has managed to stay coaching Essendon. I think its incredible that he is considering recruiting Jason Akermanis next year. Essendon are sitting 2nd bottom on the ladder because they have traded away their good draft picks in recent years for old "established" players that have contributed little to the team. I reckon they have probably done it more than the Roos have.

I also think its stupid that he is going to play Dean Rioli in the last few games this year just so that he can reach 100 career games. Fair enough if it was 300 or even 200 games but so many players reach 100 games nowadays that it means very little. Dean Rioli is a fat, slow, lazy player who has only ever been rated by Essendon. Why would they care about letting him get to 100 games? Only Kevin Sheedy can answer that.

I know Richard will laugh at this but I suspect Freo might be a chance at making the Grand Final. They have shown that they are capable of beating Adelaide at AAMI stadium, and I have no doubt that they (on their day) are capable of beating West Coast at Subiaco.

I reckon this is shaping out to be a very interesting finals series.

Ive always thought it was really stupid how bus drivers wave at every single other bus driver they pass on their various routes. In fact it pisses me off. Surely they dont know every other bus driver. You dont see doctors waving to every other doctor they walk past in the hospital.

I would be outraged by this if it wasnt so funny.
